Method of Works

VEGETATION CLEARANCE

Six years’ growth cleared from the site perimeter using specialist tracked machinery.

TANK DEWATERING

Standing water pumped down prior to sludge excavation.

SLUDGE EXCAVATION

25-tonne excavator mobilised to End B. Sludge pushed from End A toward End B using a Skid Steer.

SLUDGE STOCKPILE & LOAD OUT

Material stockpiled at End B and loaded into 20-tonne haulage lorries for disposal.

REPEAT FOR ALL 5 TANKS

Process repeated across each tank until all were cleaned to specification.
