It’s been a year of growth here at MRMS, with exciting new contracts, significant fleet expansion and new additions to our amazing team. We’ve embraced the latest in innovative technology and sustainable practices and provided our acclaimed services around the country.
We’ve been proud to see the company go from strength to strength, all made possible by our dedicated, hard-working teams, and our loyal and supportive customers. So before we stride into 2025, here are some highlights from a fantastic year.
Cutting Edge Solutions
As a company, we have always maintained a strong commitment to innovative technology that benefits our customers and the public at large. In November of this year, we were delighted to bring in a game-changer in the world of trenchless pipe repairs – the Bluelight Lining System.
This cutting-edge system is versatile and cost-effective. It significantly reduces repair time, eliminating the need for disruptive and time-consuming excavations. The result? Faster, cleaner, and more efficient pipe rehabilitation for our customers. Find out more about this amazing technology here.
Above ground, another new member of the family was out and about, removing the built-up sludge from stormwater tanks. The radio-controlled RoboDozer has been another brilliant acquisition, tackling tough jobs and accessing hard-to-reach areas.
New Connections
MRMS has been very active in the community this year, connecting with some great organisations in the process. We have teamed up with the Bradford Bulls to be their drainage services supplier this season and joined the Pipeline Industries Guild, a global association dedicated to supporting the pipeline industry.
In June, we were absolutely delighted to announce that MRMS had been awarded a place on the Yorkshire Water framework of contractors to provide Reactive Tanker and On-Site Services across their essential assets. The 3-year contract represented a big step forward for our young company and remains a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
Out In Force
From CCTV surveying to wet well commissioning, our fleet has travelled far and wide across the country providing both planned and reactive services in 2024. With the increasingly wet and windy weather we have been experiencing, our intrepid teams have been working tirelessly to resolve major drainage issues or prevent them from happening.
As 2024 came to a close, Storm Darragh had a significant impact on the country and our teams were out in force. At one point we had 27 tankers and two teams of tree surgeons at various sites, removing flood waters and clearing access.
Come rain, snow, or even sun, our diligent engineers have continued to excel out in the field. Their brilliant work has had a huge impact on the success of our company, and we can’t wait for it to continue in 2025 as we look forward to what the upcoming year will bring.
